As the HR Manager you will be primarily responsible for running the HR function while providing consultative services to senior management and staff.
In this role you will experience duties and responsibilities such as but will not be restricted to:
• Assisting to drive the culture and values of the club which are a critical business element
• Using your skills and experience for the development of a comprehensive L & D program.
• Organisational development and Workforce planning such as developing best HR practices, identifying risks in relation to employment practices and keeping up to date with relevant legislation.
• Recruitment and retention by assisting managers in the recruitment, selection and retention of suitably qualified staff as well as co-ordinating the orientation process, HR induction program for all new staff.
• Performance management and staff development through developing, reviewing and coordinating a performance management system and coaching managers in its effective use. In addition you will provide support and assistance to all employees on employment related matters.
• Ensuring legislative and program requirements are met by ensuring the organisation meets its requirements under the OH&S Act, Equal Opportunity Act, Workplace Relations Act and other relevant legislation.

• A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or related field.
• Previous proven experience in a Generalist HR role.
• A detailed knowledge of HR practices and legislative requirements
• Ability to work with the senior management team
• Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision making skills.
• A high level of proficiency with all Microsoft Office products.
