The Cerebral Palsy Education Centre is a unique and successful specialist education service for children with cerebral palsy and their families. CPEC is acknowledged as a world leader in the development and delivery of education and learning programs. For over 20 years, CPEC therapy representatives have presented lectures and workshops throughout Australia and overseas. This includes training courses ranging from half day awareness programs to Post Graduate University Courses.
CPEC's Education Programs were formalized in 2007 when the Victorian Education Department asked CPEC to develop and deliver specialist training courses for teachers, therapists, teacher's aides and families who work with school children with cerebral palsy and like disabilities.
We have recently finished our purpose built extension, specifically designed for our specialist therapists to deliver CPEC's Education and Training Courses created for professionals to advance life opportunities for children.
As the Planning & Implementation Manager, Education & Training Division for the Cerebral Palsy Education Centre (CPEC) you will change lives.
Located in our Glen Waverley (Victoria) Education Centre, this role reports directly to the Chairman & Chief Executive and Education Committee.
The Ultimate applicant will require extraordinary leadership and coordination skills to:
- Facilitate additional specialist education and training courses for teachers, therapists, aides and parents.
- Liaise with the CEO and CPEC's internationally acknowledged therapists and education practitioners.
- Effectively market education the courses for delivery including transition to the class room and in class teaching as well as e-learning packages and on-line course modules.
- Be a part of negotiating and marketing CPEC's Education and Training Courses to education service providers, disability organisations and Universities throughout Australia and globally.
